We operate and switch between these rides based on popularity. Normally the trail that we select is based on the requested route of the first guest that books. Once we have taken a booking for either of the trails, all other bookings for those dates will have to be for the same trail.

The minimum age is 12 years old, however, you must be a regular rider. All riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Maximum age. We do not have a maximum age limit, however, we do not recommend the week rides for riders over 70. It is essential that all participants are riding and walking fit and in good general health.

No, by filling in the form you are only providing us with the initial information so that we can assess if our trail rides will be suitable. So don’t panic if you decide that you have made a mistake or changed your mind. Nothing is set in stone at this point.

Once we receive your information, we will then contact you to go over the details, the process of booking and the next steps. Only once we have sent you the booking information and we have received payment will the booking be considered confirmed.

Before your booking is confirmed, of course you can change your chosen trail / dates as long as there is still availability on the other ride you want to select.

Once your selected trail ride is paid for and confirmed, it may still be possible to change to a different dates / trail ride, but you will need to contact Sierra Trails as early as possible to give them enough time to check availability and the impact on the trail already booked.

This is at the discretion of Sierra Trails and may incur additional costs should you still wish to change.
